Designed for cyclists, by cyclists. Advanced apparel to Live, Ride and Work in.

Levi’s have released a lookbook for it’s latest Commuter Collection. Launched back in 2011 the Commuter Collection is designed to combine durability with clothes that are not only functional, but still look good at the same time.

The lookbook was photographed in Levi’s hometown of San-Francisco where 75,000 residents commute daily by bike. In addition to it’s steep hills and Mediterranean climate, San Francisco is the ideal choice to showcase a collection which is designed to withstand the wear-and-tear of the daily commute.

The collection features a selection of packable windbreakers, water repellent jeans and jackets, and shirts with re-inforced elbows. Levi’s have taken some of their staples such as the slim fitting 511s and have updated them with new technology and materials. With the Levi’s® Commuter™ 511™ Slim Fit Trousers you are able to ride and work in the same pair of trousers as they have a water-resistant and dirt repellent NanoSphere® protective finish, protecting you against the elements. Other details that have been introduced include a reflective seam, making them suitable for riding in the dark, and a U-lock holder on the waistband to attach your bike lock to you.

The collection will be landing in stores soon, in the meantime you can find out more about (and shop) the rest of the Commuter Collection here.
