If you follow Jerry Lorenzo, the Fear of God founder, designer, creative director and all round style icon on any social media platform you may have noticed his love for Vans. Regularly posting photos sporting Vans Eras and Slip Ons alongside his Fear of God line, a collaboration between the two is unsurprising and is almost a natural progression.
Last night Jerry Lorenzo shared two images over on his instagram account previewing the upcoming collaboration between FOG, an extension of the Fear of God line, and Vans. The two images feature a Vans Era and Van Sk8 Hi silhouette in a tonal white, taupe and black colour scheme.
The Vans Era feature an all over Fear Of God print, much like the classic black and white checkerboard version and is nicely finished off with a pair of taupe coloured laces. The Sk8-Hi’s feature a contrasting off-white/pale grey and black suede upper and is completed with similar lacing.
It’s not confirmed when the collaboration will exactly be released, but they are expected to drop along with Summer 2016’s ‘Collection Two’. Whilst the preview images are of early samples, you can see for yourself it’s going to be something to get excited about.
What do you think to the collaboration?
