If you’ve been following me for a while now you’ll know how much I hate the colder weather. The only good thing about this time of year is the fact you can wear multiple layers of your favourite clothes to keep you warm. As always I’m going to be keeping it causal this season, however I hope to add in some more interesting pieces with a pair of tailored joggers and a Levi’s sherpa jacket at the top of my wishlist. I also have so much time for the revival of classic Nike silhouettes such as the Air Max 95 and 97s!
It’s been forever since I’ve done one of these type of posts! I don’t really know why I haven’t as I spend hours online and scrolling through instagram! Anyway, this is what has caught my eye lately. As you can probably tell I’m dreaming about warmer days and can’t wait for some REAL sun. After the last couple of months, I really feel like I need a week by a pool somewhere to just relax with a mojito in hand. As always, comfort is key for me – I like to keep it casual. You will most likely find me wearing a mixture of classic sports and streetwear brands or a pair of ripped blue jeans with a classic white t-shirt.
Publish Brand are back with the second delivery from their “Second Nature” Spring concept. Influenced by the changing, uncertain global climate, the line-up of apparel reflects the imbalance being suitable for various conditions.
Celebrating their six-year anniversary, Publish Brand continue to blur the line between conceptual and contemporary menswear showcasing its growth in design, fits and fabrics in this collection.
The “Second Nature” collection features a range of shirts, shorts, pants and revised outerwear silhouettes in a selection of soft tones, light materials and relaxed fits.
With SS16 being all about relaxed fit and cropped pants, my favourite pieces include the Slash and Rupert Pant which embrace comfort with their relaxed cropped fit in stretch bull denim and French terry, the Milan tee with it’s double layering, scooped hem and side splits and the Tonie tee in this neutral colour way.
The release is available now at selected global retailers and at publishbrand.com
‘early mornings, blue skies, blue jeans, warmer months, making plans, fear of god x vans, supreme ss16, the 1975, john elliott, converse, skate style, track pants, a spring clear out, positive thinking, determination, results‘
Running Through Vietnam, the collection from John Elliott’s acclaimed runway show at NYFW 2015 has finally landed at retailers. With the accompanying tagline ‘structure from chaos’ the Spring Summer 16 range is heavily military influenced and arrives in four washed out colour ways; olive, cream, charcoal and blue.
Delivery 1 features the Mercer Tee, a slim fitting t-shirt with oversized neck and slight dropped back, an Oversized Cropped Hoodie and the Paneled Flight Jacket, a slightly oversized bomber jacket with cut out panel detail – a small glimpse of whats to come from the fairly big collection.
You can view the full runway lookbook here and the video below, and shop the first instalment of the collection via Kith and johnelliott.com
