I don’t know about you but I’m really over winter now. As soon as the holidays are over I’m on countdown to summer! It might still be a while off just yet, but many of the stores have started to roll out their SS18 offerings already.

When it comes to luxury brands and clothing, I find it hard to justify spending so much money on one item of clothing. I’m always worried I would change my mind or regret it so tend to stick to more affordable brands – it doesn’t stop me looking though! So what’s on my luxe wishlist? As you can see from the selection below, I’m definitely longing for the warmer weather.

Gucci has really grown on me the last couple of years so most of my wishlist is made up of a selection of their items – just look at those shorts! Other pieces come from Moschino and Louis Vuitton who have really upped there game this past year with collaborations with streetwear brands Supreme and Fragment, I’ve chosen to of my favourite fragment pieces from the collection and this statement slogan shirt from Moschino.

Do you like my choices? Let me know your thoughts below!

Looking Forward.

With Christmas officially over we can start looking forward to what 2017 has to bring. The New Year is a great time to reflect on the past year and create achievable goals for the next 12 months. At the start of last year my skin was particularly bad. I found myself plagued with ingrown hairs along the beard line, which were not only unsightly but also really painful.

Having gone my teenage years with fairly clear skin, it was frustrating to have skin problems in my late twenties. Ok, it wasn’t THAT bad, but it felt like it and really started to get me down.

This past year I have had the opportunity to try and review various male grooming products which has helped me understand what works for me and in turn keep my skin under control. I’m always on the look out for new products to introduce into my daily routine so this Christmas when I received a shed load of luxury male grooming gifts I couldn’t wait to get started. I’m looking forward to giving them all a try over the next couple of months and see what the hits are and which ones are the misses.

Some of these were featured on my Christmas Gift Guide so maybe people do read my blog after all! So… what did I get?

TOM FORD For Men Oil Free Daily Moisturiser 50ml | TOM FORD For Men Exfoliating Energy Scrub 100ml | TOM FORD For Men Face Cleanser 150ml

I have used a couple of the TOM FORD products before with good results, however I haven’t tried any of these so I’ll be looking forward to giving them a good go soon. The packaging alone gets me excited so let’s hope this products live up to their price point.

Kiehls House Of Fraser Exclusive Age Defender Gift Set (Sold Out)

This House of Fraser Exclusive skincare set featured on my The Best Grooming Gifts for Men gift guide earlier in December and contains a Moisturiser and complimentary sample  of the Power Serum from the recently introduced Age Defender Range. The set also includes the All-In-One Body Fuel body wash, and the Ultimate Strength Hand Salve to complete the ultimate head-to-toe routine.

CLARINS Men’s Age Control Set (Sold Out)

I’ve never used Clarins before so this little kit is a great introduction. The set includes the Super Moisture Balm, Shampoo & Shower and Active Face Wash all nicely packaged in a hanging wash bag. This is the second anti-acing gift set I received, maybe I should take a hint!

Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Cologne

It wouldn’t be Christmas without receiving at least one new fragrance and this next one is a beauty. I have loved this Jo Malone scent for sometime now but have never owned any of the fragrances so to receive this one at Christmas was a great surprise. The scent is a mixture of fruity, spicy and woody notes which is perfect for winter and especially the festive season. A real aromatherapy experience!

Trends | Suede Chelsea Boots

Chelsea boots are big news for Autumn/Winter 15. The Seventies favourite are back; worn by everyone from The Beatles to The Rolling Stones, the typically black leather boot has become a classic over the years due to it’s versatility and simplicity. Whether worn with a suit or a pair ripped jeans, the Chelsea boot has always had a place in many men’s wardrobes and that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon, with the likes of Kanye West and David Beckham pictured wearing them recently.

For 2015, the Chelsea boot has been given a contemporary update with various takes appearing on the market, appealing to a whole new audience. The rise of luxury streetwear over the past few years has seen the line between ‘smart’ and ‘casual’  become harder to define combining influences from both genres. The suede Chelsea boot being one of the latest hybrids.  Below, I have picked out some of my favourite Chelsea boots on the market at the moment. Whilst the sleek design remains the same, the finish varies from the distressed ALLSAINTS Lance Boot to the streamlined Common Projects.

Which is your favourite style?
