Wishlist | 005 November: Supreme, Yeezy, Vans x The North Face & More

With the countdown to Christmas well and truly in motion, it’s time to start embracing the British winter and stop hiding under your duvet. And whilst I won’t be writing a list for old St Nick, it doesn’t mean that I don’t currently have my eyes on a few things; I mean, just look at that Levi’s x Supreme Jacket:

Wishlist:

Supreme x Levi’s Moleskin Trucker Jacket

The result of two American icons, the two-piece collection features a jacket and jeans in three different colour options. The Trucker Jacket looks like a traditional denim jacket but is instead made with a moleskin fabric. Featuring the classic red Levi’s tab to the pocket and Supreme branding to the inside of the jacket, the latest offerings are simple yet timeless.

Woodbuds In-Ear Headphones

I’ve wanted the black Woodbuds headphones for sometime now but am yet to order them. Naturally crafted using sustainable wood and bio-plastic for the cables, these headphones not only look good, but you can feel good knowing that every pair sold helps towards future preservation and regeneration of our woodland.

Vans X The North Face Sk8-Hi MTE LX

The second collaboration on my list, this time Vans have teamed up with The North Face to release a number of new shoes ready for the winter. Available in 3 different colour options, The Sk8-Hi MTE LX includes gusseted tongues, reversed waffle lug outsoles, heat retention technology and a water repellent leather and suede upper to keep your feet protected this winter.

Yeezy Season One Camo Tee

I don’t think this needs much introduction but if anyone can source it for me in a Medium, let me know in the comments!

Fear of God Essential Tees

Finally, the fourth collection from Fear of God went live this week. Whilst the new collection might not be to everyone’s taste, the brand returns with its distressed denim and a great basics line, including both of these tees.

The September Issue. What to Wear

FullSizeRender-6 FullSizeRender-7FullSizeRender-5FullSizeRender-4

We’re mid-way through September already so we are in that weird place where it’s not quite warm enough to dress for summer and not cool enough to wrap up just yet. With the news of a ‘heatwave’ on the horizon, it’s difficult to know how to dress! However, as our tans start to fade I think it’s safe to pack those shorts away for another year.

Keep it simple. There’s no point putting layers and layers on just yet. You won’t be comfortable. Try a lightweight sweater or knit. Wear it oversized. It will keep you warm during the cooler days with plenty of room for air to circulate if it warms up.

I’m wearing the Acne Studios College Face Sweater in a large. This sweater has just the right amount of weight too it. Whilst I would usually wear a medium I bought this in a large as like the look and feel of it being oversized. It sits perfectly on my jeans, exposing what i’m wearing underneath; in this case I’m wearing the E.T Tee in “clay” from the Supreme Fall / Winter 15 drop. I have finished off with a trusty pair of Adidas Stan Smiths, these ones are the vintage red ones so have a slight aged pink look to them and an off-white midsole, completing that laid-back winter-sun look.

It’s been a while since I last did a post featuring any new products I have recently picked up or have been using so here’s a quick update.

I know, another Aēsop haul, but, it was much needed. Starting with Shine, this product is a lightweight hair oil designed to hydrate dry, frizzy hair. This product is perfect for me as my hair is quite thick and course so it just gives that extra bit of nourishment, post shampoo. The screw on lid comes complete with a pipette so it’s easy to control the amount of product you use, and with only 2 to 3 drops recommend per use, this product should last a long time. Although it is marketed as a hair oil there is nothing stopping you rubbing some through your beard to give it that extra shine. My second pick up was the Fine Fabric Care solution in collaboration with A.P.C. I ended up buying this from the Prince Street store in New York after a disaster with a bottle of coke during my visit to the Statue of Liberty! I wouldn’t really hand wash anything usually (as it’s too much effort), however I’m planning to decant some of this into a travel-sized container for future trips incase I ever need it again! Lastly, I have recently swapped my Amazing Face Cleanser for the Fabulous Face Cleanser as its designed for more sensitive skin and I prefer the scent for the summer.

I have started using Marvis Whitening Mint toothpaste in place of my usual Colgate. I was first introduced to Marvis a few years ago when I received a sample of the Strong Mint variety and was immediately attracted to the vintage-style design. At the end of the day, toothpaste is toothpaste, and aslong as it contains fluoride and keeps my teeth clean and fresh, I’m happy, so this is a bit of a unnecessary purchase. However Mankind offer a value triple pack which will keep your teeth sparkling for a few months. At the same time as purchasing the toothpaste I also picked up this handy Marvis toothbrush with bristle cover which I plan to take to Copenhagen with me mid-July, as I only have hand-luggage so will be leaving my electric one at safely at home.

The P.F Candle Co Teakwood & Tabacco soy candle was also a New York purchase and looks great sat alongside the brown glass apothecary style bottles from Aēsop in my bathroom. (The scent is amazing too).

Aēsop Shine, Aēsop Fabulous Face Cleanser and Marvis Whitening Mint Toothpaste are available now at Mankind where you can earn ‘Man Points’ to spend against future purchases. Don’t forget to use my Referral Code: MK22832326.
